I read a theory once that the human intellect was like peacock feathers.
Just an extravagant display intended to attract a mate.
All of art, literature, a bit of Mozart, William Shakespeare, Michelangelo, and the Empire State Building.
Just an elaborate mating ritual. Maybe it doesn't matter that we have accomplished so much for the basest of reasons.
But, of course, the peacock can barely fly.
It lives in the dirt, pecking insects out of the muck, consoling itself with its great beauty.

I'm Josh, welcome to my portfolio website. On it, I will tell you about my background and experience.
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy!
I am a software developer who loves to code! Ever since I was young I've had a weird infatuation with pirates including one captain Teach (better known as Blackbeard). I don't have much of a reason really and perhaps theives are not the best role-models but that hasn't been an issue so far!
I am a full-stack developer and would love to work with you on your project. Contact me below!
I am a graduate of The Tech Academy’s Software Developer Boot Camp, and trained and experienced in the following web and programming languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, C# and more.
You can view my coding projects on my GitHub profile here:
My work experience started at an early age and is surprisingly varied.
My first ever job was for family working on a vegetable farm around the age of 12 (labor laws are different for agriculture)
which included tending to the plants and toiling in the fields.
However I also had a hand in the retail side of work selling the products at various farmer's markets.
When I turned 18 I switched to the healthcare field and got a job working more closely with a small group of elderly dementia patients which included distributing medications, homemaking, cooking,
assuaging behavioral issues, and checking vitals (blood pressure, blood sugar, pulse, etc.).
After 3 years I was promoted to assistant manager where I got more familiar with logistics, inventory management, and scheduling staff.
After another 3 years I switched fields again to an administrative assistant for the tooling department at a thermoforming company.
I stayed in this position a year while I learned different coding languages although I was happy to get more experience with overseeing projects as well as people and coordinate more with outside
companies.
Overall, this is to say that I have worn many different hats so I can meld into most roles and am comfortable adapting to any team dynamic.
